Hello, I am in need of emergency assistance. My name is Dana Cunningham, and I am a full-time caregiver for my father, Otis Cunningham, who is a total care patient on hospice at home for a heart condition. We lost our house last year due to me caring for my mother, who passed, and he had a heart attack right after. I was laid off for 5 months this year. I am back to work from home, but it's a low-paying job, and I have to be in and out of work to care for appointments and his care. I have applied for assistance as Florida doesn’t pay caregiver pay or anything. I need help. He is declining, and I have to get help. Hospice only provides a few baths a week. His doctors said his care is the same as someone in ICU for the past 2.5 years. His wishes are to be home. I am in urgent need of help during this difficult time. Please help.
