My name is Dan Hoppel. I'm a 43-year-old streamer, stand-up comic, and as of 2022, I'm an end-stage kidney disease patient who is in full kidney failure, and I depend on dialysis three times a week to survive. While I know I have no right to ask--y'all have saved me more times than I can count--I am out of options and out of strength.

As many of you know, I was recently hospitalized multiple times for multiple weeks at a time. I was found to have over 1300 milliliters of fluid around my heart, as well as pericarditis. That alone has left me with an outstanding bill with my insurance company of almost $3000 just for the ER copays, not to mention the actual admittance.

I know I have no right to ask anyone for help. But if anyone can, you would be helping someone who has basically been living in fear of imminent death for the last few months. Thank you so much for your help, even if it's just checking this out and getting eyes on it.
