Hello, my name is Damaris, and I'm reaching out with a heavy heart and a desperate plea for help. My two beautiful children, ages 5 and 7, and I are facing an immediate crisis: we've received an eviction notice from our apartment and will soon have nowhere to go.

The past few weeks have been incredibly difficult. I am a single mom, and the father of my children abandoned us four weeks ago, leaving us with no financial support. This sudden loss of income, combined with the rising cost of living, has made it impossible to keep up with rent and basic necessities. Now, with the eviction looming, we are truly on the brink of homelessness.

I am currently without a job, and with no money saved, I feel completely overwhelmed and lost. My biggest fear is not being able to provide a safe and stable place for my children to sleep, or even enough food to eat. They are so young and innocent, and they deserve so much more than the uncertainty we are facing right now.

Here's what we urgently need help with:

Temporary Shelter: Funds to secure a hotel room for a few days, just to get us off the streets while I figure out a more stable solution.

Food & Basic Necessities: Help with groceries, toiletries, and other essential items to keep my children fed and cared for.

Financial Stability: Any assistance that can help us secure a new, affordable place to live, cover initial moving costs, or bridge the gap while I tirelessly search for employment.

This is incredibly humbling to ask for help, but I have exhausted all other options. My children are my world, and I will do anything to protect them. Even the smallest contribution can make a monumental difference in getting us through this immediate crisis and giving us a chance to rebuild our lives.
