Hi everyone, it’s me, Cynthia Cortes. I usually don’t ask for help, but right now I truly need it.

My dad in Puerto Rico, who is 77 years old, had a serious accident. He fell from his bed and hit his head very badly, causing internal bleeding. Right now, he cannot move from his bed and is not doing well.

This has been very hard for me to process, and I’m heartbroken knowing his condition is getting worse. I’m very scared I might not have much time, and I just want the chance to see him alive and be by his side.

I need to fly to Puerto Rico as soon as possible, but I’m currently struggling to afford the flight ticket and the expenses to get there. Because of this, I’ve created a GoFundMe with a goal of $2,500 to help cover my travel and emergency expenses.
