Urgent Help for Craig's Severe Edema Treatment

Hello,

My name is Whitney and I’m trying to raise money for my father Craig. I live in California and I’m endeavoring to find him help in Traverse City, Michigan. He has been suffering from severe Edema in his legs for months now and has been in and out of the hospital several times. Though he's been tested over and over again trying to find any underlying cause, they cant seem to determine whats wrong. His legs are swollen to the point of the skin breaking open and seeping, creating open wounds that bleed and scab. The hospital, unable to determine a cause, has turned him away and now he is just getting his wounds dressed weekly at a wound clinic. After months of doing what doctors suggested, no salt, limited water, no other liquids, a strict diet and elevated feet, its not improving. Being that western medicine has reached its limit I am trying to send him to a naturopath to try to alleviate his suffering and heal his condition. Because of this debilitating situation he has not been able to work and social security doesnt even afford him enough money to follow the strict diet completely. I would be happy to pay for all this except that I just had my first baby 11 weeks ago and I’m not currently working. My husband just took on a second job so we could make our bills and our newly started business has my credit limit maxed. The timing is unfortunate. I am humbly asking for any donations, even $5 or $10, to help me try and pay for this naturopath. The donation goal is set optimistically at $2500, but i really only need about $800 for the doctor and treatment ( i hope), any left over would go towards the recommended diet he is given. I Love my Dad so much and I’m desperate for him to meet his granddaughter, which he wont be able to do until he gets better. Even if I dont reach the goal it could help me spread it over a few credit cards potentially. I appreciate anyone who took the time to read this. If you cant donate please keep us in your prayers.
