Urgent Help for Cathy & Family.Cancer and Rare Skin Disorder

Many of you know my mom- Cathy, was a pillar of the Hazel Park Community. She always loved everyone as if they were Her own family. The last couple of months have been a nightmare as we have found out she has lung cancer that has now spread to her bones. Everytime we’ve get her home and think we have things under control, she has to be rushed back to the hospital due to how much pain she is in & another problem arises.

As of the last 24 hours She is now fighting a Rare & serious skin disorder, which are causing her to be have to be transferred to A burn unit at Corewell hospital In Grand Rapids, MI to treat this as best as possible and quickly.

It has been one of the toughest things our family has had to go through as we navigate what the best steps for her are. I am not one to usually ask for help, but we are at a loss right now and would appreciate any help we can get. She is obviously out of work and with my dad having to be there a lot to make decisions for her, it is hurting us badly financially.

She is a fighter. And she’s going to do just that! We do not know how much time she has with us here, but we would like to make her as comfortable as she can be while we have her. We were just having a great time on our yearly camping trip in August when things changed so quickly. Even if you only share this post, we would appreciate it!
