Hi everyone, my heart is broken and I am so upset with myself for this event happening. If you know us, you know Boogie. He is our first baby and we love him so much! I had an accident at home and I ran over Boogie's back leg. I was rushing to get the kids ready for school, to get them to the bus stop, and it started to rain heavily, so I moved the car closer to the house so the kids wouldn't get rained on. But I thought all the dogs were in the house since it was raining... but Boogie, I guess, was hiding under the car.

My heart hurts and I don't know how to forgive myself for being so busy and distracted with everything on my mind that I let this happen.

I rushed him to the vet for an emergency appointment for X-rays and bloodwork to see how bad it was. Thank goodness his spine is okay, but his back leg is dislocated and we need to have surgery to have it put back in place. The vet was kind enough to let me put the 50% deposit down for the appointment, but I need to come up with the rest.

My heart is hopeful he will recover, but I am sure there are more costs to come even after this.
