Urgent Help for Benny's Neurological Care
Donation protected
This is our fur baby Benny. Our hearts are broken, he can no longer walk or urinate on his own. Over the last two days he has lost all mobility, and we have to hand feed him. Water is given via syringes one ounce at a time and he is constant pain. We were informed that he has to see a neurologist which begins at $5,000, not including if surgery is needed. There are only 3 neurosurgeons in Utah, and one is already booked until January. The second doesn’t begin work until the end of November/beginning of December but Benny’s condition is deteriorating so rapidly he needs immediate assistance. The first vet diagnosed him with the following: Intervertebral disc disease (IVDD), soft tissue injury, inflammation (infectious vs. non-infectious), congenital
malformation, or possibly cancer. The next move will be to get him an MRI so he can get the surgery he so desperately needs. Unfortunately I have recently lost my job and we are not in a financial position to be able to afford all of these procedures on our own, so any help is greatly appreciated.
