Babita is a lady in our congregation at Calvary Chapel Kathmandu. For the past year, she has been waiting for heart valve repair surgery. Just weeks before her scheduled procedure, and after stopping medications in preparation, she suffered a stroke this morning.

She now needs emergency surgery to repair the damage and has a critical window to avoid paralysis. Sadly, the stroke has disqualified her from any insurance coverage, and her family must pay the entire cost upfront—which is impossible for them. Here, in Nepal, hospitals require full payment before any treatment.

We are urgently gathering funds within the next 24 hours to cover this new operation. The church leadership is doing what they can to cover the costs today but these funds will need to be replenished.
