My close friend Ara was laid off in the summer of this past year and has been having trouble finding a new job. Her severance payments from her previous job will be ending. This is also in addition to needing to have various repairs done to her own apartment and getting a new water heater. I have helped her as much as I can, and I will continue to, but I am starting this GFM to try to get any possible help as the situation is getting dire. She needs help paying her rent. Any amount helps and will go straight to her - she lives in Chile and GFM will not send funds directly to Chile, so anything donated will go to me and then her afterwards. We greatly appreciate any help.
