Urgent help for Abdul Hakim and his family in Gaza
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
my name is Marc Läderach, and I’m from Switzerland.
Due to his geographical location and restrictions from GoFundMe I am stepping in to help launch this campaign. All funds go directly to Abdul Hakim. Every donation - not matter the size - can make a difference. Please contribute what you can and share this appeal. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Abdul Hakim and his family need your help — right now!
Abdul Hakim is trying to raise fund to support him ans his family with basic human needs like food. Because of the dangerous situation and the multiple bombings in Rafah, he will use part of the money to leave Gaza to go to Egypt with his family, to save their lives and hope for a better future.
Context:
Abdul Hakim family consists of 5 people:
his father
his mother
his 14 years old sister
his 22 years old brother
and Abdul Hakim, 19 years old
They used to live in the Sheikh Radwan area but their house was destroyed following the relentless bombings in the district of Gaza city. Now they live in a tent on the road in Rafah, specifically Tal Al-Sultan. Their situation has gotten worse, due to lack of food but also expensive the basic necessities are. They survive on canned food.
Since they lost their house, their life became unbearable. It has also deprived them of that sense of being safe and peaceful.
Moreover, the situation in Rafah, south of Gaza, is becoming more and more dangerous. They are living under the bombings. The situation is extremely extremely urgent!
On behalf of Abdul Hakim and his family, thank you very much for your generosity, empathy and humanity.
Every effort matters!
With heartfelt gratitude,
Marc Läderach
About Me
I’m a Swiss student of geography and history. I became aware of Abdul Hakim and his family through a colleague who has been in active exchange with him for the past six months. I stay in regular contact with him. This is a private, humanitarian effort — no organisation directs or funds it.
In April 2025 I spent several days in the West Bank in Palestine meeting NGOs, human-rights defenders, farmers, scholars, and peace initiatives. That experience guides my bachelor’s thesis. However, knowledge means little if it can’t save lives — so I’m taking action and doing my small part to make a difference.
