Help a single mother! My dear friend left an abusive relationship only to be rewarded with debt.

The divorce was an injustice that’s hard to believe. This strong, beautiful soul whose husband beat her and worse was taken for everything.

She couldn’t afford a lawyer so represented herself. The high-dollar firm she was up against, along with the LA Superior Court Judge I am tempted to name here, forbade alimony and limited child support to covering rent. Even this is not yet in her bank account. No funds for child-care so she could go to work. The family car and assets awarded to the abuser. Rent is late. Accounts overdrawn. The government programs won’t work as fast as we will! Let’s feed the baby, buy a used car, pay the back-owed rent and set the stage for her to start working her way back up.
