Layla is a devoted single mother of two girls, aged 10 and 13, who is facing an unimaginable crisis. In just days, bailiffs are due to arrive to evict her from her home — leaving her and her daughters with nowhere to go.
At the same time, Layla is battling serious long-term health conditions: chronic kidney disease (stage 3), stage 4 endometriosis, type 2 diabetes, and asthma. She also lives with low moods and undergoes major surgery every six months. Her next surgery — a life-saving kidney operation — is scheduled in just a few weeks.
If she is placed far from her hospital, as the council has warned could happen (up to 200 miles away), she risks missing this vital procedure and losing access to essential care.
We’re asking for urgent help to keep Layla and her daughters safe, near their school, and close to the hospital where her treatment is due.
Summary:
Layla urgently needs support to:
Move her belongings into storage before bailiffs arrive on October 10th (£150 for a van).
Secure temporary accommodation near her daughters’ school and her hospital (£1,000 deposit + £1,000 first month’s rent).
Cover basic living costs while she applies for housing support and recovers from surgery.
Your donation — no matter how small — can make the difference between safety and crisis. Please help this family stay close to vital care, and give Layla and her daughters the chance to rebuild their lives with stability and hope.
