I’m Kate, a 64 year old, single grandmother, and victim of the July 4th flood. I lived on Big Sandy Dr, one of the areas most devastated by the flood in Leander. My home was declared uninhabitable, and my vehicle was severely damaged by the flood. It was a devastating experience, and as an immunocompromised individual who required surgery the day after the flood, this has been a hard road to walk. 

I have important medicine to replace, household goods, clothing, you name it, I have to replace it. I haven’t been able to work, and this has been a struggle as you can imagine. With 12 surgeries in the past year, all major, this couldn’t have happened at a more difficult time. I need any help you can spare.
