My name is Ember and my son’s friend, who is 13, told me his friend’s mom doesn’t have enough food for the end of the week until his mom gets paid. She works 2-3 jobs. They're overdue on their light and water bill and have 3 days to pay it or they won’t have lights or water in the house, and these are young kids.

She’s the hardest working mom I know and tries so hard. She works 2 to 3 jobs.

She has 5 children with no family or friends to help. I’ve helped her many times but can’t anymore because my house is close to foreclosure. The mom is such a great person who was dealt the worst hand of cards in life ever.
