"Peace and Love to everyone!

Antonio Briggs and family would like to thank you for visiting this page.

In my own words, I will share the purpose of this fundraiser.

In July 2010, I was diagnosed with ALS. Since then, my mobility has been restricted greatly and I am now on a ventilator. In November 2019, I traveled from Las Vegas to Washington, D.C. for treatments, as well as to be a part of a clinical study for stem cells. However, due to the COVID-19 shutdown, those plans were halted. I was fortunate enough to have a loving family to provide housing for which I received home healthcare until December 2021.

Christmas Eve 2021 marked a major traumatic event. My family's house caught on fire. I’m grateful to God that we all made it out safely. However, my arm was fractured due to being dragged down a flight of stairs during the rescue efforts. Also, a significant amount of medical equipment, clothing, and other items (everything) were destroyed.

Since the fire, I’ve been in a nursing facility where I’ve dealt with infections, emotional distress, and wounds due to neglect by the nursing staff. I remain here today, eager to return home to my family’s care.

My immediate/urgent goal is to raise $100k! This will enable me to be back in a home setting where I can receive proper care. Every donation given will help with procuring a home healthcare provider, medical equipment/supplies, medical bills, physical therapy, and personal care needs.

Thanks in advance for your generosity and kindness. May blessings, love, and peace be the balance of your days."

A. Briggs"

Antonio Briggs was diagnosed with ALS in 2010. Many of his family members have been affected by this disease, throughout the years, Antonio has limited use and mobility in both of his arms, and the ability to breathe on his own. He also has a tracheostomy to help with his breathing.

Antonio is no longer able to work and needs 24-hour help by caregivers and nurses. This expense is not covered by insurance. All donated funds will be used to cover the 24-hour caregiving team Antonio needs at home.
