Hello, my name is Marita. I am starting a go fund me for my daughter and her family. On December 16th, 2024, their house caught on fire and everything was destroyed, her, her husband, two daughters, and two of their dogs survived. They had two dogs and a cat that tragically passed from smoke intake. The fire started from what they think was an electrical problem. My daughter and husband were at the store when the fire started and her two daughters 14 and 7 were at school. When they were able to enter the home to look at the damage everything in the Livingroom was gone, pictures were melted, and the walls were covered in smoke residue. Everything in my granddaughters' rooms is gone and will not be able to be saved. Everything was covered in smoke from the celling to the floor. The ceilings in the rooms upstairs were falling down because the fire reached the attic. The paint was melting off the walls and all of my son in-law's father's flags that he flew for him in Iraq were destroyed. One dog and the cat were found out back on the porch next to each other and the other dog was found in the living room with his front legs stuck under a recliner, his back and front legs were burnt. They need all the help they can get to re-build their home. Anything helps, please keep them in your thoughts and/or prayers.
