URGENT: help Denise keep her car
Donation protected
I've been friends with Denise Kotwicki for around 20-some years. In that entire time, her love for animals has only grown. She has rescued too many to count: dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and more. She also works for a veterinarian! Her love for animals knows no bounds. Regardless of size or medical issues, she offers them love and full bellies. Sadly, some aren't with her very long. But when they go to the Rainbow Bridge, they go with love... something a lot of them hadn't seen in their lives before Denise. She carries "body bags" in her car so that if she sees an animal that has been killed by traffic, or whatever, she will stop and pick it up so that it can be cremated - regardless of its condition. She gives them love and respect even in death.
Denise lives in Flint because she doesn't make a lot, and most of her income goes to bills. What's left over takes care of these beautiful beings. I'm telling you all of this so that if you don't already have the pleasure of knowing Denise, you can get a good picture of the incredible person she is.
Unfortunately, the cost of survival for some of us keeps rising but our income doesn't keep up. Like many of us, she is paying more on her car loan than it's worth. In fact, someone shot out her rear window and she's been forced to drive around for months with plastic taped on it.
While she cuts so many corners her life is round, it's not enough. Some of us understand all too well. Now, her car is in real danger of immediate repossession. She is behind two payments, and the bank will not negotiate. If she doesn't pay $1,300 immediately, her car will be repossessed. They are already actively looking for it. The car is a 2019 - by no means a luxury vehicle. It's got over 150,000 miles on it. And as we all know, without a car you can't get a job - and without a job you can't get a car. If her car is taken, Denise stands to lose everything... including the "modest" home she rents.
Please, I'm asking for help on her behalf. She won't ask herself... she's far too proud. But I don't know many people who deserve it more. If you don't want to help for Denise, please think about the sweet souls that she cares for. Every being on the earth deserves food and a warm place to sleep. It doesn't take a lot; if everyone this reaches gives a little, it will go a very long way.
If you can't help financially, please share so more people can see this.
On behalf of Denise and her rescued babies, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️
