Monday, December 29, 2025 ~ Hi! We are David and Lana Williams. We are asking for donations to raise funds for a new dwelling place. We have been living at the same location since August of 2015. Our landlord has just advised us of our needing to move because they are gutting the apartment, their words, not ours. We have been paying rent on time every month, for every year, and renewing the lease by December 31 each year. We were told that the lease would not be renewed for 2026, and given 60 days to vacate the apartment, as of February 28, 2026. Lana and I are both disabled, with multiple health conditions. I am 73 years old, and on home oxygen due to COPD/Emphysema. I use a mobility scooter due to physical limitations of my back and legs. I am unable to have any kind of income other than Social Security Disability. Lana is 59 years old, and also with COPD/Emphysema, Type 2 Diabetes, obesity, double vision, and Sciatic nerve damage. She uses a mobility scooter due to physical limitations of her back and legs. Lana is unable to have any income. We have been married for 34 years, and at this point have no savings, and no family or anyone to turn to. Our current income each month goes directly to payments of rent and utilities. We are asking for a total of $3000 to cover first and last security deposit, and first months rent for our new apartment.
