During that time, they were unable to work legally, leaving them jobless and struggling to survive.They have done everything they can to stay afloat taking under-the-table gigs, selling personal belongings but it hasn’t been enough. Now, they are facing an urgent crisis: rent is due in just four days, and they are still short.

The good news? Their work permit has finally arrived, and they’ve been applying to jobs everywhere. Unfortunately, nothing has come through yet. To make matters worse, the seasonal haunt they’ve proudly worked for seven consecutive years has been unresponsive and unreliable about hiring this season.
