I want to thank everyone who has supported Art Cathey through this incredibly difficult season. Your love, prayers, and generosity have meant the world.

As many of you know, Art has been battling liver and colon cancer. After deep reflection, prayer, and careful consideration, Art has chosen a different path forward:

Where Things Stand Now:

Art has decided not to undergo surgery.

She’s focusing instead on holistic healing methods that align with her body, spirit, and beliefs.

She will not be returning to the U.S.

Art has chosen to remain in Ghana, where she continues her care in a peaceful, supportive environment.

Your contributions will go toward naturopathic and medical care in Ghana.

This includes pain management, healing therapies, and basic living costs as she fights with strength and grace.

This journey is still ongoing. Art is still managing her pain. But she is also still fighting—on her terms.
