Urgent: help a family survive the genocide

Donation protected
UPDATE: Mohammad, Samar, and their children are now trying to survive while the bombings are worse than ever. There is nothing left of their house. So any donations to help them survive and have a roof above their head are welcome.

Hello, my name is Marissa from the Netherlands. My dear friends Mohammad and Samar, along with their children Amin and Karim, have lost everything in the war and are now seeking shelter in an abandoned school building (with danger of collapsing). The situation is getting worse every day with daily bombings, and attacks. Finding safe and nutritious food is a daily struggle, and they sometimes have to rely on rainwater for drinking. Living with this constant threat and deprivation has become incredibly stressful, making it harder each day to maintain hope for a better future. We are now fighting to help them overcome the daily difficulties in providing life requirements such as food, drink, clothing, treatment, and necessities, and evacuating them as soon as possible when the boarder open.

Mohammad tells their story:

Our story began when we were bombed by Israel during the October 7 war. Our house was destroyed and we narrowly escaped death. The bombing and destruction filled our hearts with fear and terror. We escaped from the bombing with difficulty. Life turned into hell: fire and phosphorus everywhere. My children suffered from asthma attacks due to the large amount of smoke and phosphorus, and they began to suffer from suffocation. I have not find a treatment for them yet, but their condition worsens everyday especially when they are exposed to the smell of smoke from the fires we use for cooking or when they smell the dust and rubble that has filled all places due to the continuous bombing and destruction for more than a year. After we fled to the southern Gaza Strip, we lived in a tent and then we moved to an abandoned building in a school that was scheduled to be removed because it was at risk of collapsing at any moment. It is dangerous but I prefer it here instead of to the tents where there were insects and stray dogs that would one day bite my child's foot. There was no home, no food, and we did not live a human life with its minimum requirements. Our own business, our only source of income, is gone, and we have nothing left.

I never thought I would ask for help, but I am turning to the kindness of others in this difficult time for my family. Even the smallest donation means a lot to us. Every contribution can help us as we try to rebuild our lives and find a safe place to go to. I ask everyone who has humanity to help me and my family travel abroad o find a place to start a new life and treat my children from the illnesses and traumas they have been exposed to.

Thank you to everyone who comes forward to help us escape to a safe place.

How we will be using the funds:
As the costs of departure (crossing the border) were last listed as $5,000 for each person over 18 years old and $2,500 for each person under 18 years old the family's evacuation fees would cost $15,000 dollars to get to the Egyptian side.

Other expenses are: $13,000 to cover living expenses like food, warm clothes, the costs of repeated displacement, and $2000 for the treatment of Amin (7) and Karim (5).

Gofundme processing fee is ($2.9% + $0.30) for each donation
