“I'm Nicole, one of Sara's closest friends and I started this GoFundMe to help her and her mom out during this very scary time.

While on vacation in Orlando, Sara, her mom (Debra), and Sara's two girls(Kiley & Rae) had 1 full day on vacation when Deb started feeling off. Her blood pressure was very high, her heart rate was erratic and she complained of shoulder pain. They took Deb to HCA Florida Osceola Hospital. The staff ran multiple tests and today, after a heart catheter procedure, they discovered she had suffered a heart attack — Deb needs triple bypass heart surgery within the next few days; she’s too unstable to make the drive or fly home to Michigan.

Now this is where we need your help! Sara drove to Florida but needs to fly the girls back to Michigan. In addition, Sara will need a place to stay for up to 2 weeks so she can be there for her mom. Deb will also need a flight home to MI once she is cleared. Her medical team advised it is not safe to make the drive home. As you can imagine this is a very scary, stressful situation for all.
