Urgent Heart Surgery for Pup Jersey!

HELP SAVE JERSEY! This adorable seven-month-old puppy is having heart surgery in two weeks and needs your help! She arrived in rough shape from Madera where the shelter needed help moving animals out due to a nearby wildfire. Once she came to Hopalong Animal Rescue, her unknown yet substantial heart defect was discovered. She has a very sweet disposition, a hilarious sassy attitude, and loves to play. Unfortunately, she must have this surgery to live a long, normal, life, which is where you come in. The cost is in the neighborhood of $6000, plus another $2000 for preliminary and post-op care and medication.

 

Hopalong Animal Rescue is trying to immediately raise the funds to save Jersey. She is listed as a Cattle / Shepherd mix, however, she is only twenty-two pounds and not going to be nearly as big as her personality. This surgery will not only allow her to live a normal life, but one well beyond the current estimate of a year.
