Hello everyone!
We are family who lives in Sheffield and are facing a heartbreaking medical emergency. Our beloved cat is 11 years old, and she has been through so much with us. Our family fled Ukraine, from Kherson, and we brought our cat with us to safety in the UK. She is a true survivor and a deeply loved family member. Now, she is going through a very tough time. On top of having a mammary tumor (on her nipple), she has now developed severe heart problems. She is currently on medication to stabilize her condition, but it is just a temporary measure. Today, we took her to our local vet (I have attached today's receipt as proof),
and because her heart condition is so complex, the vet clinic is doing a direct clinic-to-clinic referral to the cardiology specialists at Hallam Veterinary Centre.
The advanced scans, specialist consultation, and life-saving treatment are estimated to cost around £1,000.As a family on a very low income receiving Universal Credit after relocating from Ukraine, this amount is completely out of our reach. It terrifies us to think that we might lose her now, after everything we’ve been through together to bring her here, just because we cannot afford this sudden bill.
Our children love her dearly, and we are doing everything we can to save her.We are currently contacting local charities and asking Hallam Vets about payment options, but we urgently need to raise these funds to ensure she can get her heart scans on time before we can address her other health issues.Every single pound helps. Even if you cannot donate, sharing this post would mean the world to us. We are happy to provide any further updates as soon as the specialists from Hallam Vets contact us.
Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and support
