"My dear friends and supporters,

I reach out to you with a heart heavy with sadness, shock, despair, and anxiety, yet filled with hope. I have initiated this fundraising campaign to provide urgent assistance to my family for evacuating them from Gaza and saving them from the horrors of life in Gaza amid the devastating war, destruction, and tragic conflict worsening every day.

This is our last resort to survive for me and my family from the death and genocide we are facing and the terrifying realities of life in Gaza. I ask for your help to seek refuge in a safe place before it's too late, as our chances of survival have become non-existent.

I am Hanin, a young Palestinian from Gaza, a graduate of the Faculty of Media. I turned 25 last December. My youth and days of joy were spent in the genocidal war in Gaza. I used to work remotely as a digital marketer and a voice-over artist. I loved my work, and I had a great passion for the world of voice and audio recording. I had big dreams and aspirations, a career path I wanted to pursue. I had a warm, beautiful home, a family I loved, and a quiet neighborhood to live in. But the war made me lose all of this.

Our story, or to be more accurate, our tragedy, began on October 7th. We were forced to flee our home in northern Gaza amidst the bombings, explosions, and airstrikes, not knowing where to go. A family of twelve, we fled in search of a safe haven, heading to shelters. When we arrived, there was no room to accommodate us. We sat on the school stairs in the freezing cold, trying to hide our exhausted bodies and minds from the constant terror and the perpetual question of how long we would remain in this state.

Our days in northern Gaza for 7 months have been a constant search for food to satisfy our hunger after our food supplies ran out. We couldn't buy scarce resources in the market due to skyrocketing prices and the loss of our jobs and savings. Aid couldn't reach northern Gaza due to the Israeli army blockade. We remained hungry for days, forced to eat grass and animal feed to stay alive. The rest of our day was spent searching for water to quench our thirst and for electricity to charge our devices so we could stay informed about what was happening in this small area (Gaza Strip). And by electricity, I mean solar power. We slept and woke up to the sounds of bombings and artillery fire, not knowing if we would wake up alive or not. The explosions and blasts grew louder and closer with each passing hour, day, and night.

Homes near our displacement site were bombed. Windows shattered, doors torn off, and shards entered the house. We didn't know where to flee and wander.

After several days of staying in shelters, the Israeli occupation army began threatening us to leave for southern Gaza. After everyone left and the center was emptied, we left the shelter after a long exhaustion, fleeing again to our family home. We thought it was a safe place that would protect us from the rain of rockets and explosions, but the neighboring house was bombed, completely destroying our family home due to the nearby bombing. We suffered a terrifying shock and serious injuries, miraculously escaping death.

After the destruction of the house, we remained homeless on the street, not knowing where to go! There is no safe place in the Gaza Strip; we flee from death to another death. I don't know how to describe my story filled with pain and fear in limited words that do not suffice to describe the horror and suffering I have experienced!

I don't know how to describe myself as a person deserving of rescue and a safe life?

Transitioning from a digital marketer to someone searching for essential daily necessities that are lacking in war, such as clean drinking water, food, and firewood, represents the shocking change that the war has brought into our lives. Losing my job, which I used to support my family, and facing the challenges of displacement, soaring prices, difficulty accessing basic resources, and the spread of diseases due to garbage accumulation and the lack of medications, exacerbate the suffering and difficulties facing my family.

After multiple displacements, we decided to return to our home. After our return, the Israeli army invaded the area we live in. Aerial and artillery bombardment continued frantically for hours. The sounds of gunfire and shells did not cease. We lived through extremely terrifying and terrifying moments. Several shells fell on our house, destroying rooms, with one completely destroying the kitchen. We lived and slept among the rubble and destruction, unable to leave the house due to the ongoing frantic bombardment, and we remained trapped for days, unable to go out or access food and drink. This war did not only destroy our home, our work, and our hopes, but it also destroyed our physical, mental, and psychological health. As a digital marketer, I didn't just lose my source of income, but I lost my sense of security, stability, and comfort.

This is a picture of my little sister, Sham. She is suffering from hepatitis and severe psychological trauma and cannot receive proper treatment.

And this is the last picture I took of my brother Yazan, who is only five years old. He went to kindergarten for a few days to learn like any child in the world, but the war deprived him of all his rights to education and living safely. We cannot provide him with sufficient food, and he suffers from malnutrition.

This is a picture of my sister Jana. She was about to complete her high school education; her dreams were suddenly shattered, and all she thinks about now is getting more than one loaf of bread.

And I don't want to forget my mother. She suffers from chronic illnesses, and we cannot provide her with medicine. She faces great challenges in trying to cook on fire due to the lack of gas.

And there is my brother Hassan; we haven't seen him for over 3 months because the Israeli occupation forces arrested him for several days, tortured him, stole his money, and stripped him of his clothes. We lost track of him for days; we didn't know if he was alive. We used to go to the hospital to see the bodies to identify him, but in the end, we learned that the Israeli army forced him to go to the south. He is now living in a tent in a difficult situation that is unbearable, and with the increasing threat of the Israeli army to Rafah, the danger is getting closer to him. So I ask for your support to help me save my family.

The situation in northern Gaza is catastrophic, and famine is imminent. We are subjected to ethnic cleansing, hunger, and thirst. The sounds of airstrikes and artillery never stop, and the smell of death is everywhere. We have endured for more than 7 months what no human being could bear at all.

My mother, father, and my eight siblings are all trapped in Gaza, and we request financial assistance to leave Gaza immediately.

I reach out to you to request your help amid these difficult and harsh conditions of this monstrous war that we have endured for more than 200 days, which has completely changed my life and my family's life. With your donation and sharing our story, your cooperation can be a lifeline for me and my family to live a dignified life and find a safe haven. Your donation, no matter how small, can be a beacon of hope for me and my family to live a dignified life.
