URGENT: Goosebumps Cryotherapy Needs Your Help!
Hi, I'm Donna Mabon. My sister and I started Goosebumps Cryotherapy 6 years ago after we discovered how cryotherapy helped my back issues and my sister’s fibromyalgia. We built our business on helping others feel better, relieving their pain and inflammation, helping athletes recover and perform better, and supporting local charitable organizations with fundraising and events.
Here at Goosebumps Cryotherapy, we have built an amazing community, friends, and proud to say, family and we look forward to serving you all for many years to come.
COVID-19 continues to rear its ugly head and we continue to struggle as a result. Let me tell you what is going on. During COVID-19 we were unable to pay rent as we worked on rebuilding our business following the shutdown. Unfortunately, our business was not eligible for PPP assistance and the many grants we have applied for have not come through.
Although we have been working on paying off the past rent, the landlord is now demanding that all the past rent be paid in full immediately. He has put our space on the market and if we are unable to pay off the rent and he can find a new business to lease our space, then we will have to close or sell the business. There are currently a couple of interested parties for our space as I write this.
Ironically, we are getting our footing and have the business on a fantastic path forward. We are committed to our community, love our location and do not want to close or leave but we cannot afford to take on additional debt. We take pride in helping others, donating to wonderful causes, and maintaining a fund for veterans, and, although it pains me to say this, now we have to ask for your help.
We need $75,000 to stay put. The money raised will be used specifically for past rent, fees, and taxes associated with this campaign. I'm sure you all know how even a small donation can have a big impact and if we at Goosebumps Cryotherapy have made a positive impact on you or your family, please consider helping us to continue to make that positive impact, not only for you and your family but others in the community as well.
I can't emphasize enough the urgency of raising this money. Our deadline is September 30, 2023.
