It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Daniel "Wayne" Lloyd, who left us peacefully on July 15, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones, due to organ failure. Wayne fought bravely for two years, preparing for a bone marrow transplant that he received seven months ago. Tragically, the transplant was unsuccessful, and his health declined steadily since then.

Wayne was a beloved husband, father, and friend whose infectious laughter and positivity lit up every room. From children to adults, people of all races and backgrounds were drawn to his warmth and kindness—everyone who met him loved him. His courage throughout his illness inspired us all, and his memory will live on in our hearts forever.

Time is of the utmost essence, as Wayne is currently in the hospital morgue because the family lacks the funds to proceed with his burial. We urgently need your help to give Wayne the dignified farewell he deserves.

The costs of a funeral—including funeral home expenses, cemetery fees, and plot costs—are substantial, and the family’s resources have been depleted after months of medical treatments. I am Wayne’s neighbor, but on behalf of the family, I am helping to reach out to our community for support to lay him to rest. All funds raised will be distributed immediately to the family so we can start the burial process as soon as possible.
