Mia is my 2-year-old husky. I adopted her shortly after I got out of the Marine Corps. Since then, she has been my everything. I would do everything with her. We are inseparable and even the short time I am away during the day at college, I'm always thinking, 'What's Mia getting into?' She's friendly as one can be, loves walks, and always has the zoomies.

Recently, she has been out of her usual behavior. I had taken her to a vet after she started acting differently, and they did not find anything wrong with her. Upon taking her to a second vet, they informed me that she has a liver disease. To make her better, she needs to be sent to a full-time facility, where she can be on 24/7 IV, catheter, and surveillance, as well as receive injectable medicine. Unfortunately, this is something I cannot afford.
