Many of you know our Gio and lately, we have had a lot of things going on with him. I always pay for his procedures but this time, it may be a lot more expensive than we have dealt with. Gio had his MRI yesterday and today he stopped breathing and was rushed to the Vet. His tongue was purple and his mouth open, the Dr quickly intubated him with oxygen and meds to help him breathe.

His MRI showed his brain is swollen and pus inside due to a very bad ear infection. He was given meds to help the pressure come down and now we are transporting him to Pacific Veterinary Hospital & Specialty in Lafayette, CA. He will be hospitalized for a few days and then he will undergo a surgery on his ear canal called Tecaboo. He will lose his hearing but he won’t get any more ear infections. We are thankful he has no tumors or masses.

I hate to ever ask for help but this is going to cost more than I ever thought it could be. Anything helps and if all you can give is a prayer, we truly appreciate it.
