Urgent Funds for Life-Saving Brain Surgery

Dear compassionate friends and supporters,

My heart is heavy as I write to you today, seeking help for my younger brother Elie KASSOUF. At just 45 years old, he has been diagnosed with a large meningioma in his brain, and without urgent medical surgery scheduled for Monday, May 15, we fear he may not survive.

My brother is a devoted father to his 5-year-old child, who has autism and requires constant care and attention. As a family, we have been struggling to make ends meet in Lebanon's current economic crisis. My brother has no medical insurance, and all the expenses related to his surgery and aftercare must be paid out of pocket.

We have already drained our savings, and I recently lost my job, leaving us with nothing. But the most challenging part is the thought of losing my beloved brother and leaving his little child without a father.

The surgeon handling his case initially, Doctor Ibrahim al-Hushaimi, advised us that my brother's life depends on this surgery. We are now incredibly fortunate to have the procedure led by Dr. Goerges Nohra, a lead neurosurgeon at Saint George Hospital University Medical Center in Rmeil, Beirut, Lebanon. The surgery is scheduled for Monday, May 15.

We are urgently seeking $50,000 to cover the cost of the surgery and aftercare. Every day that passes makes us more anxious, and we need your help to ensure that my brother can receive the medical care he needs to fight for his life.
