My name is Ciara and I am raising funds for my kitty named Kat. Early Saturday morning we noticed Kat starting to breathe weirdly and immediately took him to the emergency vet. He had 60mls of fluid drained from his chest cavity and is diagnosed with congestive heart failure. Me and my boyfriend could not afford to do the full work up where they test the fluid to find the reason why this is happening. I am left with a $1200 vet bill with no definite answers. Without the proper lab work there is an high chance of the fluid reoccurring. All of the money will go towards blood work, xrays, and to analyze the fluid and give us a more comprehensive health plan for Kat. He is one of the most important parts of me and my boyfriend’s life and I feel like my whole world has been flipped upside down.
