Help Bring Voltaire Algas Home for Critical Medical Care

2024-10-25 ***UPDATE***
We’re grateful to share that Tito Voltaire arrived safely in the Philippines on October 22. He went directly to the hospital in Cabanatuan, where he is currently undergoing assessment before heading home to continue his therapy.
Unfortunately, due to a denial from the insurance company, the significant hospital expenses and airfare costs have become a heavy burden on his son and family, who remain in Canada with two young children. The outpouring of support from all of you – through generous donations, heartfelt prayers, and encouraging messages – has been truly uplifting, and we are profoundly grateful.
This GoFundMe page will remain active to help cover the substantial hospital bills and airfare expenses. Thank you for standing with us in kindness and solidarity.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your generosity so far. Your kindness has been incredible, and we are truly grateful. We kindly ask that you continue sharing this fundraiser, as we recently learned that the insurance company has denied the claim. This means Von and his family will have to cover all hospital expenses themselves.
If anyone has expertise in insurance claims and is willing to help us challenge this decision, please don't hesitate to reach out to myself or to Arvi.

Hello friends and family,
I’m reaching out to ask for your help in supporting Tito Voltaire’s medical needs. On October 5th, 2024, while visiting his son and family here in Montreal, Tito Voltaire suffered a major stroke. Although he has medical travel insurance, it unfortunately falls short of covering the full cost of safely bringing him back to the Philippines to continue his treatment.
Given his condition, Tito Voltaire requires special seating arrangements for the flight, which has significantly increased the travel expenses. Any support you can offer to help him return home would mean the world to us. No contribution is too small, and your kindness during this difficult time is deeply appreciated.
On behalf of the Algas family, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity and support.
