Help Us Keep Lifesaving Support Open for Survivors of Sexual Abuse
Right now, survivors of rape and sexual abuse in Norfolk are facing a devastating reality.
The service that helped them survive… may not survive itself.
Recent coverage by ITV News has highlighted the crisis we are now in. After a major funding decision, our support has been cut from £420,000 to £144,000 over the next two years—leaving us fighting to keep our doors open.
⸻
“I don’t think I would be alive today without this support.”
Two survivors shared their stories publicly this week.
Amanda was just 11 when the abuse began. She described being suicidal, self-harming, and struggling with addiction before finding help.
Today, she says she is strong, and that recovery is only possible because someone was there for her.
Donna-Louise was groomed and repeatedly raped as a teenager. It took her over a decade to process what happened. With the right support, she has been able to rebuild her life.
These are not isolated stories. They are the reality for the people we support every single day.

What this funding cut really means
Before the funding cuts, we were able to support around 80 new clients each month. Now, we’ve been forced to reduce that number to just 10.
That means:
• Survivors turned away
• People left to cope alone with trauma
• More individuals reaching crisis point without support
As our CEO said, these are “some of the most vulnerable people… who’ve experienced unimaginable crimes.”
⸻
This is where you come in
We are launching this appeal because we refuse to let survivors face this alone.
Your donation will:
• Keep counselling and support services running
• Ensure survivors are not turned away
• Help people move from crisis to recovery
For many, this support is the difference between surviving and truly living.
⸻
Every donation matters
We know times are tough. But even a small contribution can help keep this service alive.
Because behind every number is a person like Amanda. Like Donna-Louise.
Someone who deserves support, dignity, and the chance to rebuild their life.
⸻
Please donate today
Help us protect this lifeline.
Help us make sure that when someone reaches out for help…
there is still someone there to answer.
