Ayúdanos a despedir a Patricia (Paty) Rizo

El 4 de agosto de 2025, nuestra querida madre, Patricia (Paty) Rizo, falleció tras una corta pero devastadora batalla contra un cáncer agresivo y de rápido avance. Tenía solo 50 años.

En los últimos meses, supimos que estaba enferma. Pero para cuando se descubrió el cáncer, ya había avanzado demasiado. A pesar de todos los esfuerzos por cuidarla y buscar respuestas, su salud se deterioró muy rápidamente, y su partida ha dejado un vacío profundo y doloroso en nuestros corazones.

Nuestra madre fue una mujer extraordinaria. Paty era amorosa, amable, fuerte y desinteresada. Siempre ponía a los demás antes que a sí misma — ya fueran sus hijos, su familia, sus amigos, o incluso personas desconocidas que necesitaban ayuda. Daba todo lo que tenía por las personas que amaba, y lo hacía sin pensarlo dos veces. Su fortaleza, calidez y generosidad tocaron a todos los que la rodeaban.

Deja atrás a seis hijos que la amaban profundamente:

Joanna (32), Andrea (30), Lorena (27), Miryam (26), Alejandro (17) y Dulce (12).

Mientras comenzamos el difícil proceso de despedirnos, pedimos su apoyo para cubrir los gastos del funeral y entierro, que se llevarán a cabo aquí en Tijuana, México.

Cualquier donación, por pequeña que sea, será de gran ayuda y consuelo en este momento. Todos los fondos irán directamente a sus hijas mayores, quienes están organizando los arreglos funerarios.

On August 4th, 2025, our beloved mother, Patricia (Paty) Rizo, passed away after a short and devastating battle with an aggressive, fast-moving cancer. She was just 50 years old.

In the last few months, we learned she was sick. But by the time the cancer was discovered, it had already taken hold. Despite every effort to care for her and seek answers, her health declined very rapidly, and her passing has left a deep and painful emptiness in our hearts.

Our mother was an extraordinary woman. Patti was loving, kind, strong, and selfless. She was the type of person who always put others first whether it was her family, friends, or even strangers in need. She gave everything she had to the people she loved, and she did it without hesitation. Her strength, warmth, and generosity touched everyone around her.

She leaves behind six children who loved her deeply:

Joanna (32), Andrea (30), Lorena (27), Miryam (26), Alejandro (17), and Dulce (12).

As we begin the difficult process of saying goodbye, we are asking for help to cover the costs of her funeral and burial, which will be held here in Tijuana, Mexico.

Any donation, no matter the amount, would be a huge help and a comfort during this time. All funds will go directly to her eldest daughters, who are coordinating the funeral arrangements.
