Urgent foster & vet bill fundraiser for little hugo

Meet Hugo, an adorable 11-week-old Terrier x Papillon puppy who has found himself in need of urgent care and a second chance. We took Hugo in as an emergency foster after his previous owner suffered a severe allergic reaction, to the point where she became seriously ill and could no longer be in the same home as him.

Upon collecting Hugo, we immediately noticed concerning 'burn-like' marks on his skin. After closer examination, we are almost certain he has ringworm, a contagious fungal infection that can spread to both humans and other animals. Because of this, we are having to take extra precautions, including wearing gloves, frequent handwashing, and disinfecting all areas he comes into contact with.

We have scheduled a veterinary appointment on the 21st of February for a full health check, vaccinations, microchipping, and treatment for his condition. Unfortunately, we were unaware of Hugo's medical needs before taking him in, and now we need to raise a small amount to cover his vet bills.

If anyone can contribute towards Hugo’s care, it would mean the world to us. Every little bit helps to ensure he gets the medical treatment he needs to recover and find a loving forever home.

EDIT: For anyone questioning the estimated costs, £250 was just a rough figure. Hugo only arrived late last night, so we’re still assessing everything he needs. If you don’t want to donate, that’s absolutely fine, but there’s no need to criticize us for asking for support. Our only goal is to give Hugo the best possible start in life so he’s healthy and ready for adoption. He’s booked in for his vet visit tomorrow, and I’ll provide a full cost breakdown once we have it.
