Urgent: Fire Recovery at GBCA

[UPDATE: I have added new photos showing the extensive damage to the classrooms. Damage is worse than first thought. The cleanup alone will be tremendous. Please help if you can.]

My three boys attend Grace Baptist Christian Academy in Attleboro, Massachusetts. This school of about 200 students (K-12) works hard to keep tuition costs down to give regular, lower/middle-class people access to an alternative to public school.

The school is currently facing a number of financial needs right now, including substantial work on the heating system and repairs from a fire that broke out on 2/12/25 in the attic of the building that destroyed classrooms and a portion of the roof.

This non-profit school operates a building that was built in the early 1900s. Students, parents, and friends all volunteer many hours to keep the building in good, safe operating condition, but the school is facing a challenging time. The expense of the boiler is compounded by the damage caused by the fire.

The school is a ministry of Grace Baptist Church, but the school is independently funded, and operates on the tuition it receives from student families and from donations from private supporters.

My family has supported GBCA for various projects and my hope is that there may be kind-hearted people with a burden for Christian education that would be willing to help out with the repairs that are needed to the physical plant of GBCA.
