Help the Carter Family Rebuild After TWO Devastating Utah Floods... Destroyed Home, Vehicles, and Belongings

Imagine putting everything you have into buying a home for your five children, only to watch everything you've worked so hard for be destroyed. Not once, but TWICE.

I'm organizing this fundraiser for the Carter family, a hardworking young couple with five children, ages 12, 10, 7, 6, and just 18 months old, living in Pecan Meadows Townhomes in Hurricane, Utah. They are my real estate clients and genuinely some of the most honest, hardworking people I've had the privilege of knowing.

In mid-August, devastating flooding from Goulds Wash destroyed much of their home. Their specific property is not located in a designated flood zone according to FEMA's flood maps, and they did not have flood insurance. They were left to shoulder the enormous cost of repairs themselves.

For the past two months, they've worked tirelessly to rebuild. They moved their belongings into a portable storage unit outside their home while repairs were underway. Just ONE WEEK AGO, they finally installed brand-new carpet. They were beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Then TODAY, October 22, their home flooded AGAIN.

This time, the floodwaters were so powerful that both of their vehicles were swept down the street and totaled. The storage unit wasn't waterproof, leaving even more of their belongings ruined. Their brand-new carpet and much of the work they'd just completed were flooded all over again.

Meanwhile, questions about drainage responsibility remain unresolved, with the city and HOA pointing fingers at one another.

In just two months, this family has watched their home be devastated twice, lost both vehicles, and poured their resources into rebuilding—all while raising five young children.

The Carters are not people who ask for help. They work incredibly hard for everything they have, and they deserve a chance to recover from something completely beyond their control.

I'm asking our community to come together to help the Carter family rebuild their home and create a safe, stable place for their five children again.

They've lost so much twice. Let's help make sure they don't lose hope, too.

Whether you can donate $10, $100, or simply share their story, every bit of support matters.

Thank you for helping this family when they need it most. ❤️
