URGENT, Family in desperate need of help.

It is with a heavy and sad heart that I tell you all that Andre Burgoon, son of Leta Griffith and James Burgoon passed away today, December 12, 2021.

He had gone into the hospital after battling with COVID at home for a few days. Karen Roeglin-Burgoon called the ambulance at 7am on Dec 8th due to his labored breathing. He had remained at the hospital.

Today they called the family to the hospital as they were going to move him to ICU and place Andre on the ventilator as the bi-pass machine was no longer enough to keep his oxygen levels up. Karen and the eldest daughter were able to hold his hand and stay with him for approximately an hour. The other 2 kids were able to see him from the window.

As they were trying to place the ventilator into Andre there was a little room in his throat for the vent to go in. They called for a surgeon the surgeon arrived to insert the ventilator and Andre suffered a massive heart attack. They worked on him tirelessly to try bring him back but unfortunately to no avail.

I pray that Andre is resting peacefully with his mother and father.

Andre was the sole supporter for his family. All 3 kids remain at home. The middle child has Autism and this is extremely difficult on them all.

Andre had just changed jobs and had just started a new one when he became sick. They had no life or health insurance.

Karen has 48 hours to find a funeral home to take him to in order to be cremated. They do not have funds for this.

They have very little too no funds for Christmas. There is 12 year old girl, a 17 year old boy and 25 year old girl. Not to mention Karen.

If anyone has any funds they wish to donate or pay to the funeral home that would be greatly appreciated in this time of need for them.
