URGENT Emergency Fund for Matt Benites

Hi, my name is Caili and I am helping my dear friend, Matt Benites (also known to some of us as Peru), fundraise emergency and urgent funds for living expenses and medical costs. We are looking to raise $5k for rent, groceries, and medical costs.

Matt’s situation is dire and urgent. After being laid off in January, he has unexpectedly been hospitalized, undergone 1 surgical procedure (may need additional surgeries), and is doing his best to fight off infection.

Matt has been unable to get financial relief through Texas Unemployment and no health insurance. While there is an active investigation to remedy this, any donations are greatly appreciated during this time of healing.
