Our hearts are heavy as we share the devastating news from Melvie's hometown, Bogo Cebu, a vibrant community in the Philippines, and the beloved hometown of my wife, Melvie. On September 30, 2025 in the late hours, a powerful 6.9 Magnitude earthquake struck, leaving a trail of unimaginable destruction in its wake and at least 69 dead. Homes, including my brother-in-laws, have been reduced to rubble, essential infrastructure is severely damaged, and countless families have lost everything they owned.

The Devastation (And Where Your Help Goes):

The images and videos coming out of Bogo, Cebu, are truly shocking. Families are displaced, access to clean water and food is limited, and medical supplies are desperately needed. The road to recovery will be long and arduous, but with your help, we can provide immediate relief and support the rebuilding efforts.

100% of the funds raised through this GoFundMe campaign will be directly donated to the Philippine Red Cross. The Red Cross is on the ground, providing critical emergency services, including:

Search and Rescue Operations: Locating and assisting those trapped or injured.

Emergency Shelter: Providing temporary housing and essential non-food items for displaced families.

Food and Water Distribution: Ensuring access to basic necessities for survival.

Medical Aid: Offering first aid, medical care, and psychosocial support to victims.
