On September 30th, 2025, a 6.9 magnitude earthquake struck Cebu, Philippines, devastating my family’s home village of Tacup. My family, along with many of the residents, have lost access to basic necessities. Bridges that provided access to and from the village have been destroyed, making local aid and supply transportation extremely difficult.

Residents of Tacup are without drinkable water and a reliable food source, without electricity, and unable to safely return to their homes due to the massive structural damage. Many are sleeping outside in unsafe conditions, uncertain of what tomorrow will bring.

I am working closely with my mom to coordinate relief for our family and other residents. Together, we are making sure that donations go directly toward clean water, food, temporary shelter, and essential supplies for those who need them most.

Every single dollar makes a difference — and in the Philippines, your U.S. dollar goes a very long way. Even small donations can help feed families, provide safe drinking water, and offer hope during this time of crisis.
