Hi, my name is Karen and Im raising funds to give my Niece her life back!

I never saw myself being in a situation where I would need to do this, but here we are.

This is for my beautiful Niece Jordan.

At just 5 years old Jordan was diagnosed with Leukaemia, what her little body endured in the months that followed was nothing short of gruelling! All of the drugs used to treat her wasn't working, so they had to use adult treatments! On top of that she had to have 2 blood transfusions, contracted Meningitis and Septicemia! The medical team were amazing and did everything possible to make sure she survived, even bought her back to life twice! But all those drugs were bound to have an effect upon her body! Sure enough as time went on she started deteriorating, by her late 20's it was discovered that due to all the medications her liver was damaged and she needed a Liver Transplant, without it she was given 2 years left to live! Again the NHS were amazing and found her a match! Yet again her body was put through immense strain with a long and tough surgery and more medication. After 2 years the Transplant started to fail and they said she needed another Transplant. As you can see in the photo she had turned so yellow she looked like Marg Simpson! That bout in hospital also took it's toll and within less than 5 months she had lost 9 stone! By some miracle, and yet more medication and treatment the Dr's were amazed as the liver started repairing itself, something the Dr's said wouldn't happen as the damage from the failure had gone too far!

Over the years Jordan has had more lives than a cat, and for that we are eternally greatful! But we find ourselves yet again put against another hurdle and I wonder if this girl will ever get a break! Due to all of the treatments and medication over the years it has had a catastrophic effect on her teeth. They have weakened so much that they are just falling out and breaking/crumbling! She is just 33 years old and this is having a detrimental effect upon her mental health. She won't go out and do things she should be doing as she is embarrassed about her teeth. She is now limited on what she can eat as even soft foods cause more to break! Because of them breaking and the jagged edges, it is causing sores on her tongue where her teeth are catching and is so painful now that it hurts to eat! She has tried numerous dentists in the UK and the cheapest it can be done for is £19,500. She has also had an appointment with a dental team from Turkey, but due to her medical background they said they can't do it, the hospital even emailed the dental team in Turkey and said she would be ok to have it done but they still refused. She has tried to get it done through the hospital but they only do it for people who have been involved in a bad accident and lost teeth!

So we have tried everything we can think of and this is the only thing left to try!

Jordan is a lovely person with a heart of gold and a fantastic personality, that lights up the room whenever she's around! That sparkle has disappeared and we'd love to get that back.
