I am reaching out during one of the most challenging times of my life. For the past seven years, I have been living with Multiple Myeloma, and more recently, I received the difficult news that I also have a secondary cancer, MDS. My doctors are ready to start the next phase of chemotherapy, but there’s a serious obstacle in the way — I urgently need dental surgery before treatment can begin. This includes removing decayed and broken teeth, treating infections, and being fitted for upper dentures. Without this, it isn’t safe to move forward with chemotherapy. The infections in my mouth are painful, making it hard to eat, and they pose a dangerous risk to my overall health.
Throughout this journey, my greatest strength has come from my family—especially my children and siblings—who have been by my side through every appointment, setback, and small victory. Their love, encouragement, and presence keep me going, even on the hardest days. The dental surgery will literally change my life because without this care, I cannot continue my chemotherapy and cancer treatment. Every day I wait, my treatment is delayed, and my fight against cancer becomes harder. This surgery isn’t just about my teeth—it’s about giving me the chance to keep fighting for my life. Your kindness, prayers, and support mean more to me than I could ever express, and I am deeply grateful for any help during this difficult time.
