Hello, my name is Lisa. I am the proud mother of a beautiful, amazing daughter. She is the light of my life and my whole world.

I am asking for help with a medical/dental emergency. I haven't had health insurance for the past almost 15 years. I "make too much" for government assistance and in today's economy, I can't afford insurance for myself while paying for rent and bills, etc. As most of you know, it's hard for everyone.

Without insurance, I haven't been able to see a dentist in quite some time. Prior to no insurance, my teeth were already on the decline; dental problems run in my family and I tried my best to save what I could. I recently went to a dentist and was told I need help ASAP. I need several if not all of my teeth extracted yesterday. I'm already on antibiotics to fight off infections. It will be a long and painful healing process which will require time off work, at least two to three weeks, and several follow-up appointments will be necessary.

I am terrified of what all of this entails but more terrified of what could happen if I don't get it done immediately. As I said before, my daughter is my world and we are all we've got.❤️

If everyone would share my story, I'd be forever grateful. Please help me smile again next to my daughter ❤️ I haven't done it in years without covering my face. But more so, she sees I'm in pain and how it's affecting my health. Ugh, it's painful to even write this and ask for help. I'll have insurance through my job, but not for another 6 months. I can't wait that long. My goal is $10,000 to help with the cost of extractions, follow up care and any medications that will be needed. Please help me reach as many people as I can. P.S. my daughter will be getting her braces off in a few months, I made sure to take her regularly to the dentist so she'll never have my issues.
