My name is Pam. I’m a disabled senior citizen with my little dog Gracie. Gracie is 10 years old and weighs 8 pounds. I found out today she needs immediate dental care that will amount between $1,400 and $2,500. I had debilitating back surgery in April and can no longer work. I cannot afford it. I spent my last $400 for today’s appointment. I’m still in post-acute therapy, and my neighbors have been taking care of her. She’s also got a collapsing trachea, and surgery is extremely risky, which is why I haven’t had her teeth cleaned for a couple of years. Now it’s either get her teeth fixed or let her be in tremendous pain and pass from that and infection. She is the sweetest and most loving little girl. She is my world.
