Hi, my name is Yuridia and I’m reaching out to ask for help to save my dog Cuco

Cuco was recently attacked by another dog or animal it’s unsure of what it was (according to the vets it could be any type of trauma) but he suffered a traumatic oral avulsion. Which is a serious injury where part of his gum tissue was torn away. His gums are literally falling off, the wound is severely infected, and he’s in constant unbearable pain.

The vet told me Cuco needs immediate surgery to treat the avulsion, clean the infection and prevent the damage from spreading. The total cost for everything is estimated to be around $2,000 and Today we payed around 500 dollars for him to be seen and examined to find out what he has. without this surgery they told me the only other option might be to put him down so he wouldn’t be in any more pain.

That completely shattered me. Cuco is not just a pet to me he’s my best friend and my baby. I love him so much and I can’t imagine losing him like this.

Right now, I’m doing everything I can. I just started a new job, but I haven’t even gotten my first paycheck yet. On top of that, I’m also a full-time student, so things are really tight financially at this time and of course I am willing to pick up extra shifts and more hours but I cannot in time to save him.
