Hello Everyone, My name is Cheryl Koenig and my sister is dying unexpectedly due to liver cancer. Her name is Joanne Brebes and she was preparing to come visit me in Montana from her home in Los Angeles, California next week. She went into the hospital and was diagnosed with Stage 4 liver cancer. The doctor expects her to pass in the next five days, if not tonight. I myself have Stage 4 COPD and need to be on continuous oxygen. This makes a trip to California expensive and unaffordable. I am asking to raise funds to help me get to her so I can hold her hand while she passes. And, then I can help manage her estate as next of kin. I feel so helpless right now that I cannot get up and get on a plane due to my disability. The estimated costs to travel to California and back is over $3,000.00. And, of course, that does not include funeral services to lay her to rest properly. I am praying that you, yes, you will help me get to her bedside. Do not let my sister die alone in the hospital.
