Urgent Care Needed for Sully

This is Sully, formerly named “Oreo” from the rescue he came from.

Heather is his human and started fostering him from a hoarding case with a local rescue organization.

Sully started a shell of the dog he is now. Really afraid of the world. He came from having no socialization to the world and landed softly in the caring hands of Heather and luckily for him, he never left.

Heather has given everything to Sully. Including the best name ever “What a hunk Babyman Sully”.

She exposed him to new people and showed him that kind hands are everywhere. She brought him to training to show him what it’s like to work with humans.

She taught him how to let loose with toys, how to make dog friends and never missed one of our group classes in hopes to make him the best most confident version of him he can be.

Sully has come so far with patience, understanding and training. He is finally experiencing a fun joy filled world with Heather by his side.

Heather would give everything for this boy and she just recently adopted him making her his forever.

Now she needs our help. Sully came down suddenly last week with extreme stiffness all over his body. He was lethargic and hung his head low whining and now yelping.

She has done diagnostic work up to this point on a foundational level and has found nothing wrong.

The vets believe based on his symptoms and pain level he has wobblers which would be fatal.

The diagnostics testing at this point for wobblers is getting out of reach at $4-6k and she is facing some very hard decisions.

I am her friend and Sully’s trainer and I know that no one should have to worry about finances when your dog is in this much pain. Heather is so kind and doesn’t deserve any of this. And neither does baby man..

I am hoping that the grounded dog community and beyond can surround Sully and Heather in this time of need.
