Urgent Care Needed for Skylar and Sierra

Skylar and Sierra are the most supportive and loving birds. They are ESA’s (Emotional Support Animals) that are always there for me. They help me feel loved and less alone. They are a very important part of my life. We spend a lot of time singing together. They love music, especially Fall Out Boy. They do an amazing job supporting me by knowing when I’m not feeling well, and showing it by not wanting me to leave their sight. They also like grooming my face or hands to show me they love me, as well as giving kisses.

Skylar and Sierra are both showing signs and symptoms that something is wrong, and they need to go to the vet ASAP. I am currently unemployed, and I am barely managing to afford the basics for myself. I don’t have any money to take them to the vet to figure out what is going on, let alone getting treatment. I’m working hard and putting in a lot of effort to get a job, but it’s not going to happen soon enough. Birds are really good at hiding when they are sick, so when birds start showing signs that something is wrong, it usually means that they have already been battling whatever is going on for a while, and they need help urgently, usually needing to go to an emergency vet.

Whatever donations you are able to give would really help. I am not sure what Skylar and Sierra may have going on, how much time they may have without treatment, and how much the cost might total up to between multiple appointments and whatever treatment is needed.

I will use the money to go towards vet bills, transportation costs, and general care for my birds. I may use a little for essentials to help keep me on my feet if needed until I am able to get a job to provide better for myself and my birds, but I would use it very sparingly for that purpose. I want this money to be used for my birds and for the purpose of them getting the help they need. If there happens to be any extra money left over, I plan to use it to donate to a bird rescue to continue using this money towards the purpose of helping birds.
